Ladies Invitation - Downs - Front

The Ladies Invitation is an opportunity for lady members to invite either 1 or 3 guests from other clubs to experience golf on the Downs Course and afternoon tea at The Kennels.

Arrive at registration in the Kennels Reception from 8:30am. Your guests will be shown up to their personalised lockers to make themselves at home before enjoying a morning brew at 'The Putting Green' summer bar. Complementary range balls will be available to anybody who would like to warm up and a welcome speech will be held at 9:30am. A ‘shotgun’ will start play at 10:00am; 18 holes of golf in a fun, format called ‘Aces High’ competing as a team of four.

After golf members and guests will have time to change before a relaxed afternoon tea and prize giving.

How to play ‘Aces High’

On the edge of each green you will find, face down, one of five playing cards. 4 x Jack, Queen, King, Ace and 2 x Jokers.  You will be advised in advance the value of each card, for example one might mean just one score counts, or two, three or all four.  And the joker is an unknown - it might double your score.

Credit Member & 1 Guest: 14 credits or £72.00

Credit Member & 3 Guests: 27 credits or £134.00

Braid Member & 1 Guest: 9 credits or £47.00

Braid Member & 3 Guests: 22 credits or £109.00

*Braid Members may deduct £15.00 per guest when using a guest pass for their golf*

 

Payment is required by Wednesday 21st August. Cancellations after this date can only be refunded if the space is filled.

£4 per person to be paid in cash on the day, this will make up the prize fund.

 

Sign-Up & Tee Times

You can book yourself and 1 guest via IG using their CDH number which they should be able to provide for you. To add 2 additional guests please email lara.johnson@goodwood.com with the following info:

• Guest names
• Handicaps
• CDH numbers or home clubs

Start holes for the 10:00 shotgun will be drawn once the competition is full.
