What is Revival Golf?

Revival Golf is held on our Downs Course, with all players dressing within the Revival dress code and using hickory clubs. The format of the pair’s competition is Four Ball Better Ball Stableford, men play from the orange tees and ladies from the green.

Arrive from 7:30am to receive your Revival score card and Hickory clubs. This will give you time on the range to master the art of playing with Hickory Shafted Golf Clubs.

You will be directed to your start holes by 8:20am in preparation for a shotgun start at 8:30am.

Lunch will be served on the golf course.

Prize giving will be held at The Kennels at 1:30pm with prizes awarded for team scores, individual scores, on course competitions and the all-important 'best dressed'.

You may then make your way to the Goodwood Revival using our vintage taxi service for an afternoon of historic motor racing, fashion and entertainment.

 

 

Sign Up:

Open to all members and visitors.

Sign up is in pairs, to enter, both players details must be entered via our Intelligent Golf sign up page.

If this event is oversubscribed, we will revert to a ballot. This will be randomly drawn to limit sign up to 80 golfers.

Open and closing dates for entry:

Sign up will open on 1st April at 7:15

Sign up will close on 1st June at 12:00

The draw will then be done once sign-up closes, please note sign up on Intelligent Golf does not confirm your place in the event until the draw is done and we confirm we do not require a ballot.

 

 

Cost (Including revival ticket):

Credit Members – £120.00 or 24 credits per person

Braid Members – £95.00 or 19 credits per person 

Non-Members – £160.00 per person

Non-Golfers - Revival tickets may be purchased via goodwood.com

 

Payment will only be taken from 1st June once the draw has been done and entry to the competition has been confirmed.

If payment has not been received by 1st July, we will look to offer your space to another pair.

 

 

Itinerary:

07:30 – 8:00    Registration on The Kennels Terrace 

07:30 – 8:00    Tea and coffee available while golfers collect Hickory Clubs from lawn behind The Kennels

08:10               Welcome speech by Gary Beves and golfers directed to start holes

08:30               Shotgun Start

                          2X Lunch stations on course serving food during round

13:00               Golfers return to The Kennels from the Downs Course and submit score cards

13:30               Prize Giving

13:35 onward  Vintage vehicle shuttles to and from Goodwood Motor Circuit for the Revival main event - please note this will be staggered due to the number of golfers needing to get to the event

 

Cancellations after Friday 29th August will be charged at the full package rate unless your space can be filled.
